Beautifully embroidered sleevebands with auspicious symbols.
Butteflies and Peonies on a lemon gauze damask ground, the insects in purple, apricot, brown, green, blue and ivory, the peonies all blue, prunus flower with Peking Knots stamens, the embroidery 23 x 3 1/4 in/ 59 x 8 cm.
Very good. The yellow backing fabric has been cut, but when these are framed this will not of course notice. We can mount them over acid free board ready for framing.
