a linear design on a deep beige ground with small sprigs of sylised flowers and leaves between angular vermiculated narrow borders, all in red, yellow, blue, green and black, the simple bodice with front opening (pinned) with large puffed sleeves tightly gathered at the dropped shoulders narrowing to the cuffs, back bodice neck to hem 12 in; 30 cm. The semi circular cape with stand up collar,
The bodice is mint. It has clearly been unpicked from the skirt.
The cape is a little duller in colour. Perhaps just dusty and needs a wash.
