Comments
Unusual and lovely colour. Can anyone tell me when these would have been worn. Are they for informal wear? Noreen Marshall curator of costumes at The Museum of Childhood, Bethnal Green, London has pointed out that these pantaloons appear to have Asian influence cut or maker. I feel the silk is Italian or French but that does not rule out this pair being made in the East from European fabric. Intriguing.
Condition
Very good.
