Castelguidi Bag

Sometimes called Casalguidi. The town of Castelguidi is near Pistoia in Italy. They were producing this type of work from the late 1900's until World War I.

of apricot linen, the lower section worked with padded and raised stem stitch, woven picots, buttonhole bars on a pulled work ground, cord ties and simple stitched sides, 12 x 10 1/2 in; 30 x 17 cm
