silk shawl of square section, the central field with a diagonal design of flowers in trumpet shaped vases with coiling ribbons, in old rose pink and mid blue, two opposing borders with stripes of blue, yellow, green,bronze and old rose, the other two borders in green, blue, purple, pink, lemon and ivory stripes, fringing to all four sides, 52 in; 1.32 cm sq.

Exquisite and unusual colouring. Beautiful. A collectors shawl. I have bought this type of shawl before and they are always in these slightly offbeat, artisitc shades.

Condition

Very good. There are several places in the centre field where the silk weft has slightly opened up but this only shows when the shawl is held to the light. A very small slightly dark mark.
