printed leather house shoes, the natural leather with a dash design, a central scene of two chinese people under a parasol with a young boy holding a bird, the cage nearby, the ground scattered with parrots, dolphins, pagodas, a boys in boats and an archer, in mid blue, black, green and red, the vamp and shoe top edged with a rouleau green trim, the leather sold edged with cream rouleau trim, the soles inked with no 18, lined with mid green silk, 10 in; 26 cm

Extremely rare. Wonderful. Provenance: Sold by Susan Duncan Miller from her family home. Her maiden name was Findlay.
