Rare. Unusual design. Would look good mounted (we can do this for you) and framed. There is a similar piece which is a pillow cover in the V & A. See Nevinson, John L Catalogue of English Domestic Embroidery p 18 plate XIII.
Condition
Very good. There are small areas where the wool embroidery has come away, which you should see from the photos.
