the brilliant yellow ground woven with sprays of coral pink roses and small blue star flowers, with carnations, bindweed type flowers, all in shades of blue, green, magenta with brown leaves, the selvedges woven with coral and green narrow stripes, 37 x in; 95 x 53 cm good part, 46 in; 117 cm total length.

Stunning colour. How amazing the dress would have looked by candlelight and how confident the wearer!

Condition

This was a width of a skirt, now unpicked, so it does have some of the vertical waist fold lines. Bad staining at bottom which could be removed if you wished.
