Very pretty. Love the way the puffed sleeves have lace insertions.

Description

the bodice with a whitework embroidered and Buckinghamshire lace frill insertion to the low neckline, double fine corded drawstring, the bust areas with further wider panels of Bucks lace curving from the waist to shoulder, the high waist with a further fine corded drawstring, the very long narrow sleeves with oversleeve with four rows of embroidered whitework gathered into the muslin to create a puff effect, the widening skirt with three rows of flounces, Top of shoulder to hem 4ft 7 in or1.4 m;  hem circumference 7ft 10 in or 2.25 m

Condition

Being of such fine muslin the dress is in remarkable condition. The left hand lace panel has four holes and a light brown very small stain (photo availiable. The left hand underarm has some holes and wear and could do with backing and conserving. A slight slight mark just below the waistband. A very small mark to the mid right hand side of the skirt. The top ruffle on the hem has some slight marks. Photos available.
