a twill weave, printed with large sprays of full blown roses, lilac and holyhocks, in shades of soft red, yellow, ivory and mauve, with large leaves, the background neutral, 10 ft 6 in x 8 ft w 3.2 x 2.45 m (3 widths of fabric with 5 selvedges and one raw edge.

Comments

Wonderful quality and really rare to find printed wool furnishing fabric. Just the sort of curtaining for a mid Victorian home. Ideal for a National Trust property or someone wanting to restore a house.

Condition

A few darns, but because of the pattern it is impossible to see them, and certainly when the fabric was hanging these would not show.
