the double pouch very finely embroidered on a silk gauze ground in counted stitch, each with a shaded pink chrysanthum or six petalled flowers in green leaves, all outlined in gold wrapped silk on a blue swastika meander ground, backed with twill weave silk, lined with pale blue cotton, 8 x 3 1/2 in; 20 x9 cm.

Unusual design and pattern. Extremely pretty example. This would have been worn over a belt.
