Comments
If this is by Michael O'Connell, and I'd love to hear thoughts on this, he designed for Edinburgh Weavers and later Heals, the most dynamic printed textile company during the 1950's. Tom Worthington commissioned a wide range of patterns from a variety of designers including the very effective designs from O'Connell, whose measured linear designs, such as Segments (1955) and Modulus (1958) were printed in sober tones.
O'Connell also produced his own range of block printed textiles under the name Mael Fabrics, specialising in theatre curtains.
I am selling the lengths seperately and they range from £ 125 for the half widths and £200 for the full widths.
Condition
Very good condition. Piece A has a darn to one side which extends 2 inches horizontally and 1 inch vertically but not solidly. Ask for photo. Hardly noticeable from front because of the busy pattern.
