full length, of fine quality linen with rounded frilled collar, buttohnhole to collar, no button, the front with two buttonholes (for a tape), the shoulders with an inserted piece from collar to dropped shoulder, tightly gathered shoulders, insert triangle below sleeve, the cuffs gathered into sleeves with buttonhole, frilled, gores to the lower sides, shoulder to hem 52 in or 1.33m

Beautifully made. This must have been really nice to wear. Nice details such as the small V at the cuff and the French seams.

Condition

Very good. There are a few very slight marks to the front right hand side, as you look at the piece. The lower areas have a few slight light brown markings. My guess is a conservator could remove these.
