Description

tightly woven on a drawloom, the fushia silk twill weave centre with two deep fill over borders with slender upright pines with gently curving tips, a rose at the base with smaller roses, buds and foliage, between vases of foliage, blue flowers and small C scrolls, all on a khaki ground, below two narrow borders with five different flowers, including roses, aqualega and fushia, the outer border with two different flower sprays, two sides sewn in reverse (to allow for the turn over of the shawl into a triangle), all in clear shades of md blue, green, yeloow, orange, crimson, pink and brown, 5ft or 1.52 cm sq
