This pair of sleeves are quite heavenly with their beautiful detail. They are of the typical shape of the period, very large and full and the top tapering to the cuff. Called gigot because their shape resembled a leg of mutton
a pair of large puffed sleeves, the machine net ground embroidered with silky thread leaves, the top gathered into a pale pink satin band, the cuffs with three similar bands, the outer edge with a pair of satin edges net diamonds edged with similar embroidery, two metal hooks and embroidered eyes to the cuffs, approximately 23 in or 60 cm long.
Very good. I cannot see anything wrong apart from a small small hole where the net has broken on one cuff.
