uncut sleeveband of mid blue silk satin embroidered with baskets of peonies, chrysanthums and peaches, butterflies and symbols, worked in Peking knots, satin and long and short stitch in shades of vermillion, peach, yellow, green, blue and black silks, outlined with gold wrapped silk, actual embroidery 18 x 3 in; 45 x 8 cm, the whole piece 43 x 7 in; 110 x 18 cm

Beautiful quality and pretty subject matter.

Condition

Very good apart from a little of the black silk embroidery missing from the lowest area. This hardly notices. We can mount this ready for a frame. It would not need a mount.
