hand block printed wool and silk with a repeat pine motif over the entire surface of the shawl, with 7 in; 18 cm high pines within a trellis, Indian inspired flowerhead repeat to the guard stripes, all in shades of scarlet, aqua green, blue, pink and soft orange on a white ground, the very outer border with a repeat scalloped design on chocolate brown, 10 ft 10 in; 3.30 m x 5ft 5 in; 1.65m

Great design and colouring. I was not going to put this up on the site because of the damage but actually for someone who would love to have a shawl of Paisley design for re enactment, display over a sofa etc. this would be fine. It is quite strong.

Condition

There are some feint stains to this shawl and a little damage to edges. Ask for full report.
