Stunning and elegant. A very good quality tightly woven shawl.

Description

of silk and wool Jacquard woven, with Indian inspired pyramidal trees converging on the scarlet centre field, surrounded at either end with huge elegant elongated gently curving pines outlined in white filled with and surrounded by exotic Indian flowers,the deep end borders with pairs of outward elongated curling pines between smaller examples interspersed with exotic Eaastern foliage, the sides with a similar border, epaulette ends, fringing, in shades of red, green, pale blue, white and black, 10 fty 2 in x 5ft 4 1/2 w; 3.39  x 1.64 w 

 

 

Condition

One very small moth hole to centre.
