Floaty and beautiful. The ends have a slightly heavier weave of fabric which was often given to delicate shawls. This is the area which was handled when wearing the shawl.

Condition

One small tear which I am getting conserved by placing a small piece of suitable fabric behind and carefully supporting the face fabric. The centre field has extensive pale cream markings.
