the end borders 6 in or 16 cm deep woven with small upright pines , balancing on vases, in deep pink, duck egg blue , dark green, taupe and yellow, filled with stylised Kashmir style flowers , interspersed with narrow upright flower sprays , all on an ivory twill weave ground, the guard stripes of soft red and blue stylised flowerheads, the side borders similar,8ft 8 in x 31 in or 2.65 m x 79cm, silk fringe.

Condition

The stole looks fresh and beautiful but there are 10 pale tea stains and one darkish mark. The largest stain is 1 1/2 x 1 1/4 in or 4 x 3 cm and 2 x 1/2 in or5 x 1 cm.
