of pomegranates, completely couched in silver wrapped silk with a fruiting branch of bursting fruits and small leaves,using crimson, green and yellow silk threads, the stem slanting, 10 in or 26 cm

Comments

Although this piece is all silver thread by couching (holding the silver in place) with small coloured silks, the piece appears coloured.

Condition

Very good. No fading. We have had this hand stitched to old linen, which is pulled over acid free board and taped at the back, ready for framing.12 1/4 x 8 1/4 in or 32 x 21cm.
