early 19th c

stockings cotton knitted with lacy pattern to front, and hand stitched with silver spangles, each has a cotton loop stitched to the top, the foot 5 1/2 in or 14 cm; height 14 in or 36 cm.

Wonderful.

Condition

In remarkable condition. A couple of feint brown marks and the spangles are ever so slightly tarnished but still have lots of sparkle.
