This spray would have been applied to a wool or velvet pelmet, and hung round a four poster bed. Notice the design in some of the leaves.
The pinks or carnations in shades of pale pink with yellow calyx, shaded elegant green leaves, outlined in dark brown. all in silks and wool.

Probably slight fading to some of the flowers, but they are still beautiful.
