The round neck with a deep gently curving collar, the bodice with three bones down to a pointed waist, the back sides with boning, with brass hooks and eyes and laced with mauve cord, the bodice lined in white cotton, puff sleeves above three quarter length pagoda sleeves, the skirt with six gathered flounces, a disposition, the fine cotton in a mauve trellis, edged in a denser mauve, a suspended pocket hung from the waist,  a deep white cotton inner hem. The pelerine with a gathered frill.

Condition

Very fresh and clean looking. I don't think it has ever been washed because the fabric is slightly stiffened/starched.  A few stains. The front bodice point with a little light yellow marking and another very small area to the top

The left hand pagoda sleeve has slight yellowish marks to front and back 3 x 4 cm but not dense. The back bodice is slightly grubby near the lowest hooks and eyes, where hands have secured the dress. The lower back hem has a 2 x 2 cm similar yellowish mark. The bodice was never completely attached to the skirt

Photos available of markings.
