edging for a woman's robe, embroidered with squirrels, some ivory, ivory and beige or beige each with vermillion eyes and ears, all worked in Peking knots, their tails in long stitch, amongst fruits, melons? couched with gold wrapped silk and with shaded green and blue fruits, also in Peking knots, all on an indigo satin ground, depicting two collars, straight and curved strips, 33 x 29 in;

The effect of the long stitch for the tails gives the impression of a feathery look. Highly decorative.
