iThis could be late 18th or early 19th century. William IV born 1765 died 1837, brother of George IV, suceeded in 1830 and reined until 1837. William IV (1765 - 1837). Lived for 20 years with Mrs Jordan, the actress. Suceeded to the throne in 1830 after his brother George IV died. Married a suitable bride Adelaide but with no mail heir, despite having 10 children, William's neice Victoria suceeded to the throne. Very fine linen with beautiful hemmed sides.
Condition
Some light brown snuff coloured markings. I would have thought a conservator could remove or reduce these if required.
