This stole would be fine for draping on a mannequin.

Description

of deep purple twill weave silk, the ends woven with upright sprays of naturalistic flowers including primroses, daisies and other flowers above a row of slanting leaf and red and yellow flowers, between narrow borders of zigzags and a flower motif , the side  edges with two rows of yellow stripes, two ends fringed, 2 ft x 8 ft 10 in. or 60 cm x 2.7 m

 

Condition

This shawl is soft and I feel it has been washed.There are paint/paste marking to one end border and a spot of similar to the other end on the purple ground. These stoles invariably have some markings to the centre ground, this one having some pale markings.
