Payment

By credit card: MasterCard, Visa Credit - 1.9% charge which will be added to your bills. American Express - 2.6% charge will be added to your bill.

Payment by direct debit incurs a £15 surcharge for bank charges.

I am sorry but I cannot accept payment by US dollar cheque.

Please note that your payment needs to be cleared before the item is sent.

Once I have received payment your package will go off within the following two days. After your first order with me you will be informed when the web site is updated. Don't forget to let me know of e mail address changes.

Problems

If you are not satisfied when the piece arrives, please telephone or e-mail me. I will refund the full amount of the piece as long as it is in the same condition as when it left me, and has been returned without delay. You will pay the postage both ways. I have only had one piece back in 22 years and that was because the client wanted to wear a pair of Edwardian shoes, and they did not fit her!

Postage and Insurance

I send packages by recorded air mail, which means you sign for them, All packages are insured and this costs £18 $30 up to £1000 $17600 and thereafter 1%. This is therefore a very economical means of safe carriage, far cheaper than using a carrier.

Measurements

are in imperial and metric. I measure the drop first then the width.

Condition Reports

My condition reports are very accurate and I have never had an item returned because of an inaccurate description.
