Either by bank tranfer or credit card: MasterCard, Visa Credit - 1.9% charge which will be added
to your bills. American Express - 2.6% charge will be added to your bill.

Payment by bank transfer incurs a £12.
I am sorry but I cannot accept payment by US dollar cheque.
Please note that your payment needs to be cleared before the item
is sent.
Once I have received payment your package will go off within the
following two days.

Problems
If you are not satisfied when the piece arrives, please telephone or e-mail me. I will refund the full amount of the piece as long as it is in the same condition as when it left me, and has been returned without delay. You will pay the postage both ways. I have only had one piece back in 22 years and that was because the client wanted to wear a pair of Edwardian shoes, and they did not fit her!Postage and Insurance
I send packages in the UK by Special Delivery with our Post Office, which guarantees they will be with you by 1 pm the following day. This is a safe and secure way of sending. The Post Office covers the insurance.For international mail I send by International Recorded delivery, again by the Post Office. It usually takes a week to get to the USA. I have insurance cover with a broker, because the Post Office will not insure antique items.
For a parcel under £100 this costs £5; £100-500 » £10; £500-£1000 » £15; £1,000 » £20 and thereafter at 1%. This is still much cheaper than using a carrier.
