This is the most beautiful piece I have had for a long time with exquisite colours and design. Just look at the design, the way the wing has been drawn at the bottom of the roundel. All very restrained. Fabulous elegant piece.

from a Manchu ladies summer robe, all in counted stitch outlined in gold couched thread, with an archaic vessel decorated with peaches and filled with pomegranates and peonies, all in bright shades of pink, coral, purple, green, yellow and brown , 8 in. dia. now hand stitched to acid free cotton, stretched over acid free board and with a hand painted mount, ready for frame
