Typical design. Black ground shawls are quite difficult to find. This would have been worn in the the winter. Woven on a drawloom. A nice example of this type of shawl.

Very fresh looking with lovely colours. This does have a lot of small moth holes. There is also a slit 1/2 x 1/4 in
