Condition

Very good. The jacket has been relined with very fine turquoise silk which is an excellent match. At some time the wearer has spilt something down the front, and in the 20th c an embrideress has stitched two matching flowers either side of the central seam, in exactly the same colours as rest of jacket. These are different but most people would not notice unless it was pointed out to them. Looks pretty good. The way the jacket hangs at the front would disguise these additions. The sleevebands are a little grubby on the plain areas, as they so often are.
