double breasted with buttoned back lapels, straight front, of black silk satin embroidered in thick floss silks in tent stitch with small flower sprays, lillies, forget-me-knots and roses, the largest 2 1/4 in; 6 cm with five buttons to each side, slit pockets, three buttonholes to each lower lapel, lined with twill weave cotton in mid brown, the back with dark cotton in same weave, shoulder to hem 17 1/4 in; 44 cm

Condition

Very good. Slightly worn on the collar fold. There is a little break in the fine cording to the edge of the collar of 1/2 in. This hardly notices.
