The overall damask weave is really beautiful. It is unusual to find one of these shawls.

silk two centre large rectangular shawl with an overall damask weave of leaves and flowers, half with a large ivory oval centre hand block printed with small repeat motifs, surrounded by foliage and a turquoise border with S scrolls and pine mnotifs, the deep outer border of deep pinks with upright pines in green, blue, ivory, the other half of the shawl with a large oval ivory plain centre with similar surround and borders as the first half, magenta outer borders and fringing to two ends, 11 ft 4 in x 5ft 10 in; 3.45 x 1.75 m
Condition
Excellent apart from a few minor marks to the plain cream centre.
