slippers, encrusted with white, opaque and blue beads and a few cut steel with a Roman centurion's head, C scrolls and geometric motifs, surrounded by mid green silk tent stitch, the outer areas in black wool, edged with gathered silky tape, lined with natural linen, the inside soles with what looks like G23 embroidered in ivory silks on a green tent stitch ground, leather strait soles
