I love the unlikely colour combinations of the early 19th c printed shawls.

square shawl hand block printed with a linear design of claret undulating lines filled with stylised Kashmir flowers in sage green, aubergine, coral and banana alternating with rows of cream ground with large slanting pines filled with and surrounded by foliage in mid brown, aubergine, coral, banana, pale blue and sage green, all on a silk damask ground with a slightly loosely woven pattern, 5ft 3 in or 1.6 m sq, silk fringing applied.
Condition
Very, very good just a few very slight brown small marks.
