Men's Trousers

These belonged to John Sale, Ashwell, Hertfordshire. The cotton is a really good quality of heavy weight.


Cataloguing

of thick cotton twill weave, the waistband with a variety of four brass buttons to the front and two to the upward shaped back, one button with warranted not to cut, another with Suspender Button, an inner flap with two more buttons; slit front pockets  below waistband revealing a deepand shallow  inside pocket, the fly front with five buttons, three with Warranted not to cut but smaller than the waistband example, the leg hems with a small inverted V section to the fronts, inside  flap withtwo buttons, waist 26in/66cm; inside leg length 27in/70 cm


Condition

Very good. A few minor marks here and there and a slight scorched mark to back area. All the buttons are metal, most probably brass. The warranted not to cut buttons are original and maybe a couple of the plain brass ones.
