Although unfinished this Dutch sampler is very appealing and would look good mounted and framed. Cataloguing
the first Anno 1741 with a house with veranda or fencing flanked by a tree, windmill and a vase of flowers,a secondary row of vases of flowers, below two alphabets and numbers, all within a flower and stem meander border, all in shades of green, blue, yellow and brown silks all worked in cross stitch, on a natural linen ground, 10 x 11 1/2 in or 26 x 29 cm.
Condition
A couple of rust markings to the left of the roof and to the rose bush lower middle.
