Sweet print, lovely ruching and unusual squared collar.  The maker had a real eye for detail covering the small central back button in pink in between two creamy buttons.


Cataloguing

the pink flower sprig 1 1/2 in or 4 cm with a paler beige leaf sprig on a creamy ground, the square shaped collar with tight ruching to the shoulders, front opening, rouleau trimmed with brass hooks and eyes, a rouleau waistband and deep pleated peplum, the very full sleeves with ruching to the dropped shoulders, ruching to the cuffs, the back with rouleau trimmed central seam, triple rouleau trimmed curved seams culminating in three buttons, a pink between two cream, tight pleating to the back peplum, inside with plain white cotton, hooks and eyes,


Condition

A little discolouration to the back collar which could be turned. There are also two darns 1 cm square to the waistband, one is covered by the flap over.  Otherwise lovely and fresh.
