Cataloguing

the spandrels with short elegant pines with gently sloping tips, flanked by triangles of stylised flowers, a border woth upright stylised flowers and leaves emerging onto the ivory twill weave silk and wool ground, the deep end borders filled with slightly fatter pines filled with millefeori in scarlet, sage green, pale and dark blue wools, surrounded by similar flowerheads, between narrow borders with similar side borders, 9ft 4 in x 57 in; 2.86  x 1.45 m, silk fringe.


Condition

This shawl is crisp and fresh looking. There is 12 x 9 cm light brown stain to centre of shawl and a slight pale pink mark. Ask for close up photo.
