Ivory Embroidered Shawl

It is always difficult taking photos of ivory or white items. They usually come out dingy. This shawl is beautiful ivory shade and was embroidered in Canton, China for the export market. This type of shawl tends to be bought for wearing, but would look very good on a table. It's a stunner.
Cataloguing
the ivory silk crepe ground covered with embroidery, each of the four corners has two peonies with sprays of smaller flowers, all in ivory twisted silks, a narow embroidered flower border, 5ft 4 in; 1.62 m square, very deep macrame edging and fringing, 16 in; 40 cm.
Condition
Fresh and clean. No damage. Very very good.
