The fine white linen with interlaced ovals, ogival shapes over diamonds all outlined in trapunto, the background worked in beige silk in a dense vermiculated design, backed by linen, 10 x 13 in/26 x33 cm.



 



 


Condition

Excellent.  There is one place where the background design is less dense, but this must have been an error by the embroiderer. No silks have worn.
