Mughal Quilted Embroidery
c 1700
The diamond quilting on this piece is extremely fine. It would make a delightful present for an embroidery or quilter. These were probably part of a coverlet produced for the Western market and brought over by the East India Company. This was part of my collection but now with less wall space I am reluctantly selling it. I hope you enjoy it.
