This charming Stuart period mortif would have been one of many sewn to a bed hanging.


Cataloguing

A blue flower sprig embroidered in wools with ivory silk highlights, with green, yellow and brown leaves, buds and stem. 



4 x 4 in / 10 x 10 cm



Now hand stitched to linen, stretched over acid free board, ready for a frame.


Condition

Excellent. The colour is good and unfaded.
