Woven Linen Waistcoat

I thought the woven fabric used here was quite unusual.


Cataloguing

The curving high collar and front opening piped with matching linen, the horizontally striped fabric woven with a small stylised flower repeat in tan and deep pink between primrose yellow and fine groups of blue stripes, tan covered buttons, straight slit pockets, edged with fine piped linen, the back of brushed cotton, four linen tapes,  the inside front linen lined.



underarm - 39 in; 1 m.  Front shoulder to hem 22 in; 56 cm.


Condition

Very very good. Fresh and clean looking. Three little flowers on the right pocket have worn.
