The costume in navy cotton with round neck, the left hand side as a diagonal flap over section, concealing buttons through to the skirt, with red scalloped edging,  front opening, the front with pleating to the waist, integral waistband, short sleeves similar trimmed with red scalloping, under bloomers, the back with integral collar similarly trimmed,



bust 44 in/1.11 m; waist 36 in/40 cm; Length 37 in/94 cm to bottom of skirt.



Bathing suits were made to be roomy.
