The red wool with double vertical boned busk centre front and wider bones underarm, darts for the chest and for hips on reverse. hand embroidered eyelet holes, wide shoulder straps, lined in white glazed cotton, hand stitched. 



Width underarm 22 in; 56 cm approx.



Back top to bottom 6 3/4 in; 17 cm


Condition

Very good. There are about 12 minute moth holes. A  small feint darkish mark 1/2 x 1/2 inch or 2 x 1/5 cm to the left of the right hand bust gore, as you look at the stays.  Another of similar size to the back right.
