A very sweet bodice for a young girl.


Cataloguing

The printed light cotton with a pale brown and natural striped background with flowers and leaves, the large scoop gathered neck with front opening, a brass hook and eye at the high waist band, slightly gathered near the opening, shaped long sleeves, the centre back with a diamond shaped panel, two buttons covered in brown cotton and two large brass hooks sewn further down, the lining of sturdy cotton.

Condition

Very fresh and clean. I can see no markings to the outside or inside cotton. The left hand sleeve as you look at the piece, has a ochre small mark on the back. The back right hand sleeve has a little wear under the sleeve near the armhole. Ask for photo.
