Persian Quilted Coat

This charming hand block printed and quilted coat is for a small boy.


Cataloguing

Printed cotton with a wavy linear design of alternating bands of mid blue, ochre and rose pink ogivals and a sage green vermiculated design, each edged with flower bud ribbons, a raised collar and shaped cuffs, with small silk loops to the front left hand side, the skirt slightly gathered near hips and to the back, two concealed slit pockets,  lined with a cerise pink silk quilted with the wavy linear design, small silk embroidered toggles on the opposing side.

Condition

The neck is quite dirty. Ask for more photos if you cannot see. There is also a dark stain to the front right, as you look at the coat, 1 x 1/2 in; 3 x 2 cm.
