A Rare Infants Shirt
1720s

The heat impressed markings on this shirt are very rare and unusal. I am assuming it must have been a heated decorated clamp where the cloth was inserted and a pattern produced. Do tell me more if you know about this. Thank you. In original old white ie. not washed in modern detergents. My guess is this has not been worn.

From the attic of a house built in 1550. Provance available.

This group of infants clothes will be sold as a collection.
