This stunning length could be used as a hanging or table runner. The dye is probably oxide of iron. There are similarities with many of Barron & Larcher's designs on the Craft Study Centre website.
The rectangular length lino printed with a linear design with large abstract blocks between a mottled ground, all in ochre on natural cotton.
Now bordered and backed by a remarkably matched ochre striped cotton.
4ft 10 in x 26 1/2 in; 1.47 x 68 cm.
Excellent. Fresh and clean.
